Well executed, with solid character development - I have finally come to care about the Hadley siblings as well as being intrigued by the machinations if Silyen Jardine. The dystopia is a little by the numbers, but the twist of Skill keeps it feeling fresh enough to carry it off.
I enjoyed this - it’s dark, sometimes gruesome, and in places hard to read (the real world makes me anxious enough). The tension by the end was nearly unbearable.
Eagerly awaiting the third installment. Full reviewI received a free copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review
